Garden Vegetable Chowder

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 cup EACH: diced potato, cauliflower, carrot and broccoli
- 3 cups water
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Tbls. parsley
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large soup kettle, saute the onion in butter til tender.
- Add vegetables, water, bouillon, and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Combine the flour and 1 cup milk til smooth.
- Stir into pan; and gradually add remaining evaporated milk and 1 cup milk.
- Bring just to a boil and simmer 2 minutes.
- Add the parsley and cheese and stir til cheese melts.
