Vegetable Beef Soup

1lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 to 4 celery sticks, chopped
3TB olive oil
1 (15 oz.) can petite-diced tomatoes
1 can diced potatoes, drained
1 tsp. crushed garlic or 1 garlic clove, crushed
1 (14 oz.) pkg. frozen carrots, peas, corn and green beans
5 cups beef broth
2 handfuls farfalle or bow tie pasta (optional)Recipe
Brown ground beef with onion, celery and olive oil in a 5-quart Dutch oven over medium heat.
Drain off fat.
Stir in tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, frozen vegetables and beef broth (add optional pasta) bring to a boil and simmer until heated through and optional pasta is done.
Serve with hot garlic dills and saltines on the side.
