Cabbage: Scalloped Cabbage

- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- buttered cornflake crumbs
Instructions
- Core cabbage and shred slightly.
- Put into pan with the water and a little salt.
- Simmer til limp.
- Add milk to the soup and mix well.
- In a greased casserole layer cabbage, soup mix and then cheese.
- Top generoulsly with butter crumbs.
- Bake @ 350 for 1 hour.
