    List of Ingredients




    1C butter
    1C sugar
    1C packed brown sugar
    1C heavy whipping cream
    1/4 tsp salt
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    4C powdered sugar
    1C pecan pieces

    Recipe



    In a large heavy saucepan, combine butter, sugar, cream and salt.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Boil for five minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
    Stir in powdered sugar until smooth.
    Fold in pecans.
    Spread into a buttered 13 x 9 baking dish.
    Cool at room temperature.
    Cut into 1-inch squares.
    Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.
    Makes 2-1/2 pounds.
