    Apple Cider Beef Stew

    List of Ingredients

    2 lbs beef stew meaT
    2 T oil
    3 cups apple cider
    2 T Apple Cider Vinegar
    2 T salt
    1/4 t dried thyme
    pepper to taste
    3 medium potatoes cubed
    4 medium carrots, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
    3 ribs celery, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
    2 medium onions, cut into wedges
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 cup water

    Recipe

    Brown meat in oil, then add cider, cider vinegar, salt, thyme and pepper.
    Bring to a boil, recude heat and simmer for 1 1/4 hours, covered.
    Add potatoes, carrots, celery and onion, return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer again for 35 minutes or until all veggies are tender.
    Combine the flour and water, stir into hot mixture and cook for 2 minutes.
