    CANDY: Butter Cream Eggs or Coconut Cream Eggs

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup soft butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1lb. box powdered sugar
    1/2 cup coconut (optional)

    Chocolate Coating:
    12 oz semi-sweet chocolate
    1/2 cake paraffin wax

    Recipe

    EGGS:
    Cream butter and vanilla.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Knead on a board until creamy.
    Add coconut if desired.
    Shape into eggs (or drops for Christmas)
    Place on waxed paper covered tray.
    Refrigerate until firm.


    Chocolate Coating:
    Melt in double boiler.
    Dip eggs or balls in chocolate and let stand until firm.
