CANDY: Graham Toffee Crackers

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
graham crackers
Recipe
DO NOT substitute margarine for butter or double the recipe because they will not turn out right.
Line a jelly roll pan with graham crackers which have been broken into quarters.
Over medium heat, stirring constantly, melt brown sugar and butter together.
Bring mixture to a rolling boil and let boil for 3 or 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add nuts and mix together.
Pour over graham crackers and spread.
Place in 350 oven for 10 minutes (this will make mixture spread evenly over all the graham crackers).
Let cool slightly, approx. 2-3 minutes, and remove from pan with a spatula and place on foil or waxed paper to cool thoroughly.
If they begin to stick to the pan and are hard to remove, pop them back in the minute for a minute or two and then remove the rest from the pan.
