    MAIN DISHES: Swedish Meat Balls

    List of Ingredients




    2 medium onions
    3 Tbls. butter
    1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    3 slices fresh bread
    1/2 cup milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp salt
    1 Tbls. flour
    1 cup beef bouillon
    1/2 cup milk
    2 Tbls. Sherry

    Recipe



    Fry onions in butter until golden brown.
    Soak bread in milk.
    Combine meat with the fried onions, soaked bread, eggs and salt & pepper.
    Roll into 1" balls and fry in butter until evenly brown.
    Shake pan often to keep balls round.
    Remove meatballs abd add flour to fat and blend.
    Add bouillon and milk.
    Cook and stir until sauce is smmoth and thick.
    Add sherry and correct seasonings as needed.
    Add meatballs and cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Serve over egg noodles.
