List of Ingredients
6 med. green (bell) peppers
1 tsp. salt
1Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 instant white rice, uncooked
1 egg, beaten
1 (10 3/4 oz) can tomato soup, undiluted and divided
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, browned and drained
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
Recipe
Cut a slice from stem end of each pepper, remove seeds and membrane. Combine salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, rice, egg, 3/4 cup of soup, onion and ground beef; stir lighly. Pack each pepper with 1/2 cup of mixture. Place filled peppers in a round microwaveable caserole dish. (Peppers should fit tightly) Pour remaining soup over filled peppers. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at high for 15-18 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Let stand, for 2-3 minutes.
