    SQUASH DRESSING

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    1/2 chopped green bell pepper
    1/2 cup butter or oleo
    5 cups crumbled corn bread (9 in. cake pan) I use unsweetened corn bread
    2 cups milk
    1-10.75 oz. can cream of chicken soup(undiluted)
    3 cups cooked chopped yellow squash, drained (unseasoned)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper

    Recipe

    Saute onion, green pepper and celery in butter until tender. Add cornbread and stir well. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into a greased 13x9x2-in. pan. Bake at 400* for 50 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Yields 8 servings.
