2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. coarsely chopped filbertsRecipe
Combine sugar and butter in skillet.
Cook over low heat until golden brown, stirring constantly with fork.
Stir in filberts.
Cook until mixture is bubbly and filberts begin to crackle.
Spread in then layer on bttered or foil-lined baking sheet. Let stand until firm.
Break into pieces.
Makes 2 pounds.
