List of Ingredients




1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 to 2 cups chocolate chips

Recipe



Cream together shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool on wire rack for a couple of minutes.
