Chocolate Chip Flax Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup honey
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3-1/3 cups organic whole wheat pastry flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup brown flax seed
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup sliced almondsRecipe
Preheat oven to 350°F and coat 2 large baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray. Cream buttery spread, brown sugar and honey in a medium bowl. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Stir together dry ingredients, then stir into the creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips and almonds. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
Makes about 48 cookies.
