    Prep time: 5 minutes
    Cook time: 10 minutes
    Cool time: 10 to 15 minutes

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup rum
    4 large bananas, peeled and sliced
    6 large scoops vanilla ice cream
    1 cup lightly sweetened whipped cream
    1/2 cup chopped honey roasted macadamia nuts

    Recipe



    Melt butter in a medium skillet. Add brown sugar and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until sugar has dissolved; remove from heat. Stir in rum very slowly and return to heat. Cook and stir over low heat for about 2 minutes. Add bananas and cook for 1 minute more. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes for sauce to thicken slightly. Place ice cream scoops in 6 bowls. Top with equal amounts of warm banana mixture, whipped cream and nuts. Serve immediately.

    Makes 6 servings.
