    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup milk
    • 6 egg yolks
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/4 cup whipping cream
    • powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Pour milk into top of a double boiler and bring to a boiling point.
    2. Combine eggs and sugar and beat.
    3. Add milk slowly to the sugar mixture, beating continuously.
    4. Whisk with flour and vanilla.
    5. Pour over hot water in the double boiler and cook until mixture is thick, stirring constantly.
    6. Remove from heat, allow to cool, then chill.
    7. Whip cream and fold into custard.
    8. Serve in dessert dishes or partfait glasses.
