Amaretto and Almond Muffins
2/3 cup sour milk
3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
1 cup sliced almonds
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups bread flour
Preheat oven to 400F and grease muffin pans. Put the first 5 ingredients into a bowl and mix well, then add the remaining ingredients and blend until just mixed. Pour into pans and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
