Microwave Chocolate Fudge
4 C sugar
1 can (14 oz) evaporated milk
1 C margarine
12 oz semisweet chocolate
7 oz marshmallow cream
1 c nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine sugar, milk and butter in a 4 quart microwave safe bowl. cook on high 20 to 22 minutes or until a drop of mixture dropped into cold water forms a soft ball. (a small amount of syrup dropped into ice water forms a ball that does not fall apart but flattens out when picked up.) Stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow creme until mixture is well blended. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered 9 inch square dish for thick pieces or 12 x 7 x 2 inch dish for thinner pieces. Cool before cutting. Yields 48 pieces.
