    Jons awesome guacamole

    Source of Recipe

    Jon

    List of Ingredients

    • 4 ripe avocadoes (you can tell if they're soft, but not squishy (firm won't work, but maybe in a couple days))
    • 1-2 tomatoes
    • 1/2 red onion
    • Lemon or limes
    • Garlic (from the same jar as the mashed potatoes)
    • Paprika
    • Cayenne
    • Salt
    • Worcestershire sauce (secret ingredient)
    • Chips

    Instructions

    1. Finely, chop the onion (perhaps even in a food processor)

    2. Cube the tomatoes

    3. Peel and pit the avocadoes (save the pits)

    4. On a flat plate or cutting board, mash the avocadoes with a fork, then move to a bowl

    5. On a cutting board, put a spoonful of garlic down and cover with a little bit of salt. Start chopping that (the salt crystals will help to cut up the garlic very fine).

    6. Start adding everything to the mashed avocadoes. Start in smaller proportions, and have some chips handy to taste as you go along.

    7. Recommended:75% of the tomatoes100% of the onionBig spoonful of garlicPaprika, Cayenne, Salt to taste3 dashes of WorcestershireStart with juice of half a lemon or 1 whole lime. You don't want it to be sour, but citrusy. This will also help the dip stay that nice green color, rather than brown.

    8. When all mixed, put 2 avocado pits in it. This helps it stay fresh. To store, cover tightly with plastic wrap, leaving no room for air.
