List of Ingredients
- 1 pot roast - the best ones are the ones bound by string)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- carrots, peeled and chopped
- potatoes, skinned and cubed
- Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- Flour
Instructions
- Flour and brown your roast. Flouring meat helps to seal in the juices.
- Put in a large pot and cover roast with cream of mushroom soup, then sprinkle with Lipton onion soup mix. Fill empty soup can with water and pour over all.
- Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 F. After 1 1/2 hours, add potatoes and carrots and bake for about another hour.
- Makes it's own gravy, but you may want to add water ocassionally while cooking to help the gravy along and keep the meat moist and tender.
