    • 1 pot roast - the best ones are the ones bound by string)
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
    • carrots, peeled and chopped
    • potatoes, skinned and cubed
    • Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    • Flour


    Instructions


    1. Flour and brown your roast. Flouring meat helps to seal in the juices.
    2. Put in a large pot and cover roast with cream of mushroom soup, then sprinkle with Lipton onion soup mix. Fill empty soup can with water and pour over all.
    3. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 F. After 1 1/2 hours, add potatoes and carrots and bake for about another hour.
    4. Makes it's own gravy, but you may want to add water ocassionally while cooking to help the gravy along and keep the meat moist and tender.
