    Jons awesome mashed potatoes

    List of Ingredients


    • 8 potatoes
    • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
    • 1 stick up butter (take this out of the fridge before you do anything so it softens, but don't melt it)
    • 1 pint of cream
    • Sour cream
    • chopped garlic (buy the stuff in the jar)
    • onion powder
    • paprika
    • salt & pepper
    • parsley
    • Gravy mix/can of choice


    Instructions


    1. Skin and cut the potatoes into about 8 pieces each (so they're all about the same size)

    2. In a large pot, place the potatoes in water (enough to cover all of them) and add the bullion cubes

    3. Bring to a boil, and boil for 20 minutes

    4. Drain the water, keep the potatoes in the pot.

    5. Leave the stove top on, and let the potatoes sit for a couple minutes (this helps to dry them out)

    6. Start mashing.

    7. While mashing, add butter, cream, and sour cream (this calls for a lot, but you only have to use as much as you want)

    8. Add a lot of garlic.

    9. Add the rest of the spices (here, just add what you think you might want, and taste a little bit as you're going along to make sure you like it).

    10. When all mashed and mixed, get a hand mixer and blend. This makes them fluffy.

    11. Make the gravy however the package says to (sorry, not recipe for this one).
