    Fondue de Tomates

    List of Ingredients

    15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
    1 onion, peeled and chopped
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 x 425g cans whole Italian tomatoes, chopped
    45 ml (3 tbsp) tomato paste
    Pinch of Salt and freshly ground Black pepper
    30 ml (2 tbsp) choppped Italian parsley
    1 chilli, chopped

    Recipe

    1. Heat oil in a saucepan
    2. Add onion and saute for 1 minute
    3. Add garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, seasoning, parsley and chilli, cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes
    4. Add more chilli to taste, if preferred
    5. Transfer mixture to a warmed fondue pot and place over a burner
    6. Pass around chunks of bread to dip in the tomato fondue
