Banana Blondies

Recipe Introduction
These blondies are good on their own if you don't want an overly sweet treat, are very good when dusted with a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon but are super good when frosted with Brown Butter Frosting.
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 C. unsalted butter, melted
- 1 C. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1 large egg
- 3 T. vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
- 1 C. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 C. banana, very ripe and mashed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F and grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl combine melted butter, sugar and salt until completely mixed. Add egg, vanilla and cinnamon beat until a bit "whippy" in consistency Add mashed banana to the mix.
- Fold in flour. Pour the batter into greased pan, smooth the top without removing any air and bake for 25 minutes, or until pick test near center comes out clean. Shorter amount of time for chewier bars.
