Cream Cheese Brownies

- 4 oz. baking chocolate
- 1/4 C. butter
- 3/4 C. superfine sugar
- 2 jumbo eggs
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla
- 1/2 C. unbleached all purpose flour
- 1/2 C. chopped nuts
- Cream Cheese Topping
Instructions
- In a small pot melt chocolate and butter. Transfer melted chocolate and butter to large mixing bowl add sugar. Mix well then add eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Mix in flour until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread into greased 8 inch square pan.
- Cream Cheese Topping- In a bowl mix 4 oz. softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tablespoon flour until smooth. Spoon over brownie mixture. Swirl with a knife.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Do not over bake. Cool in pan.
