    List of Ingredients


    • 2 C. pecans, finely chopped and lightly toasted
    • 1 1/2 C. self-rising flour
    • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
    • 1 1/2 dark brown sugar
    • 1/2 C. sugar
    • 1 C. vegetable oil
    • 4 jumbo eggs
    • 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly toast the chopped pecans and set aside. Sift flour and salt and set aside also.
    2. Mix together sugars, oil and eggs until creamy and yellow and then add vanilla. Add flour and then the pecans.
    3. Pour into a buttered 19x9 inch pan and bake for around 35 minutes. These are rich and chewy. If you let them cool and slice the bars and return them to a low oven to dry them out they make a wonderful Biscotti type of cookie.
