Maggie's Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 C. unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 C. brown sugar
- 3/4 C. superfine sugar
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla
- 2 jumbo eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 2 1/4 C. unbleached all-purpose flour
- 11.5 oz. milk chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 C. sunflower seeds, roasted, salted and shelled
Instructions
- Cream butter, sugars and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs and mix well. Add baking soda, sea salt and flour. Fold in chocolate chips and seeds. Drop by rounded teaspoons and bake at 375 degrees F. for about 8 minutes. Because these are small you really have to watch them. They go from just under done to burnt in a minute or two.
