Nana's Peanut Butter Cookies

List of Ingredients
- 3/4 C. creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 C. Crisco shortening
- 1 1/4 C. light brown sugar, packed
- 3 T. milk
- 1 T. pure vanilla
- 1 jumbo egg
- 1 3/4 C. unbleached all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. sea salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine flour, salt and baking soda and set aside.
- Combine, peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla. When well blended add egg and beat just until blended. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix just until blended.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto un-greased baking sheet. Cris cross tops of cookies with back side of a fork. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.
