Root Beer Float Cookies

- 1 C. superfine sugar
- 1 C. brown sugar, packed
- 1 C. unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 C. buttermilk
- 2 jumbo eggs
- 3 tsp. root beer flavoring
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 4 C. all-purpose unbleached flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- root beer frosting
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Slowly add buttermilk, root beer concentrate and vanilla. When well blended add flour, baking soda and sea salt. Beat on low just until blended.
- Drop by teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack and frost with Root Beer Frosting.
