    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. dark brown sugar, packed
    • 1/2 C. unsalted butter, softened
    • 1/3 C. heavy cream
    • 1 tsp. pure vanilla
    • 3 C. powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a pot bring to a boil butter, brown sugar and cream. Continually stirring for about 2 minutes making sure sugar is dissolved. Remove form the heat and stir in vanilla.
    2. Pour into a mixing bowl and mix in a cup of powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Add remaining powdered sugar a bit at a time.
    3. Frost cake while it is still warm so the frosting will glide on.
