Pineapple Apple Turnover Filling

List of Ingredients
- 4-5 small apples, chopped
- 1 C. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of ground cloves
- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
- 2 T. cornstarch, heaping
Instructions
- Put apples into a large pot and add water to cover, boil until apples are tender. Add remaining ingredients except cornstarch, including juice from can of pineapples. Melt cornstarch with water and add to filling. Cook until bubbles are thick. Cool completely.
