Pumpkin Filling for Turnovers

List of Ingredients
- 1 very large sugar pumpkin
- 1 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 2/3 C. white sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 egg
- 3/4 large can of milk
Instructions
- Peel, seed and cube pumpkin. Boil until almost fork tender. Drain and mash then return to the pot and cook on very low heat until pumpkin has dried out a wee bit. Cool to room temperature.
- Once pumpkin is cooled add all remaining ingredients and gently boil until desired consistency for turnover filling. Remove from heat to cool completely.
