    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. Old Fashioned Oatmeal
    • water
    • dash of ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla
    • 1 C. superfine sugar
    • 1/2 C. fresh milk


    Instructions


    1. Soak the oatmeal in about 1 quart water for about 5 minutes. When the water becomes milky crush oatmeal with your hands and strain into a 2 quart pitcher. Pour a bit more water through the crushed oatmeal until it runs clear. This should make your pitcher just over three quarters of the way full. Add sugar, vanilla, dash of cinnamon and fresh milk. Mix well. Serve over ice.
