    Sourdough Apple Carrot Bread

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. active sourdough starter
    • 2/3 C. superfine sugar
    • 1/4 C. unsalted butter, melted
    • 2 jumbo eggs
    • 2 tsp. pure vanilla
    • 1 C. granny smith apple, unpeeled and shredded
    • 1/2 C. carrot, shredded
    • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1 tsp. apple pie spice
    • 1 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
    • 1 3/4 C. unbleached flour
    • 1/2 C. pecans, chopped
    • 1/2 C. coconut


    Instructions


    1. Mix everything together and and pour into a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Let rest 15 minutes then bake at 350 degrees F. for 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
