    List of Ingredients




    1 pound fresh boiled shrimp
    1 minced green pepper
    1 medium chopped onion
    ½ cup diced celery
    1 bay leaf
    1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
    1—16 ounce can tomatoes
    ½ cup butter
    2 tablespoons of flour
    ½ teaspoon thyme
    1 teaspoon sugar

    Recipe



    Saute' chopped onion in butter until limp. Add flour and blend until brown. Add tomatoes, minced pepper, celery, bay leaf, worchestershire sauce, sugar and salt. Cover and cook over low heat until thickened. Add shrimp to sauce and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with fluffy rice.
    Serves 6-8
