Glazed Meatballs

List of Ingredients
1 182 lb. ground beef
½ C. dry bread crumbs
½ C. minced onion
¼ C. milk – optional
1 egg
1 T. parsley
½ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ C. shortening
1 – 12 oz. jar chili sauce
1 – 10 oz. grape jelly
Recipe
Mix beef, crumbs, onion, milk, egg, & next 4 seasonings. Shape into 1” balls. Melt shortening in skillet & brown meatballs. Remove meatballs from skillet; drain off fat. Chill (opt.) Heat chili sauce & jelly until jelly is melted, stirring constantly. Add meatballs & stir until coated. Simmer 30 min. Serve hot in chafing dish. Put toothpicks in some meatballs & around dish. *can be put in crock pot rather than simmered..
