    Old, Old recipe from Wooden Shoe - Debbies Grandma worked there - served as an appetizer

    List of Ingredients




    3 Lbs. Ground Chuck
    1 large Onion
    16 oz. Frozen Corn
    4 large potatotes (cubed)
    1 tsp. parsley
    salt & pepper
    1 quart tomatoes
    1 - 14 oz. bottle ketchup
    1/2 tsp. onion salt

    Recipe



    Brown meat & onion in soup kettle. Add 6 cups cold water, potatoes, corn, parsley, onion salt & salt/pepper & cook for 20 minutes. Add tomatoes & ketchup. Simmer 30 minutes.
    ** You can chop 4 hard boiled eggs if desired.
    Refrigerate in a covered container for several days or freeze.
