List of Ingredients
1 pounds ground beef (used ½ lb.)
1 onion, finely diced
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (14.5 ounce) cans Italian-style diced tomatoes (or Mexican style)
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
2 (15 ounce) cans chili beans
1 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (optional)
1 quart tomato juice
1 cup water
Recipe
In a large stock pot lightly brown ground beef, and drain if needed.
Add onion, green pepper and garlic and cook until onion is translucent.
Add all other ingredients & simmer for 30 minutes and then serve. (I simmer for a couple hours if I have time)
