List of Ingredients
1 tsp. finely chopped onion – I set my stove on 1 degree
2 Tbsp. butter

3 Tbsp. flour – (might use a little extra butter – might be lumpy- leave on heat just long
2 tsp. sugar enough that the flour is coated)
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
------------------------------------------------------
2 C. tomato juice
2 C. cold milk
Recipe
Saute onion in butter. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, & pepper. Cook until smooth & bubbly stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in tomato juice. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir hot tomato mixture gradually into cold milk. Heat rapidly to serving temperature.
*I stir the milk into the hot tomato mixture & it’s fine!
