Curry Dip
This has been in my files for many years. Originally, it was strictly a dip for vegetables. Then we discovered apple slices. Then we tried it with boiled shrimp. Addictive.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- Garlic to taste
- 3 tablespoons catsup
- Dash hot sauce (Tabasco, for example)
- 1-2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine ingredients. Chill.
Final Comments
Use as dip with carrot slivers, cauliflower, broccoli, green onions, sliced peppers, radishes, cherry tomatoes, Belgian endive, cucumbers, squash, celery sticks, apple slices, shrimp.
Note: Mine may be a bit hot, so adjust curry powder and hot sauce to suit milder preferences.
