Maggie's Marinated Turkey Breast
Maggie brought this to a party a few years ago and it was a major hit. The recipe was taken from The Best Little Cookbook in Alabama by Nancy H. Bryan.
List of Ingredients
- 1 turkey breast, roasted
- 1 jar capers with juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground oregano
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 c. vegetable oil
Instructions
- Shred meat. Mix marinade ingredients and marinate meat overnight. Serve with baked rolls.
Final Comments
Ms. Bryan suggests using roast beef, too.
I love this on a chef's salad. In fact, that's how I usually have it.
