Maggie's Mexican Pie
Maggie always finds neat new recipes. She brought this to a dinner party one evening. We could have forgotten dinner.
List of Ingredients
- 2 refrigerated pie crusts (the kind that unfold)
- 4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can chopped jalapenos
- Dash chili powder
- Salsa
Instructions
- Unfold one crust on a pie plate. Fill with cheeses. Sprinkle jalapenos and chili powder on top. Top with second crust.
- Bake at 450 degrees until brown, about 20 minutes. Serve with salsa.
- Makes one pie.
Final Comments
Chopped cilantro and green onion go well, too.
