Oven Method: Place raw peanuts in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Roast at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Taste for doneness. While warm, melt 1-2 pats butter, stirring peanuts evenly to coat. Salt lightly.
Microwave method: Place raw peanuts in a microsafe square baking dish. Roast on HIGH 7-8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Taste for doneness. Watch carefully the last few minutes. Peanuts will continue roasting for a few minutes after removing from microwave.
