    Mamma got this recipe from S. King, a friend.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 pint warm water
    • 4 cups flour
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoons lard
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten


    Instructions


    1. Add 1 cake yeast to 1/2 pint warm water. Mix and let rise.
