    Mamma's Sweet Nut Bread

    From Mamma's notebook.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups cake flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 6 level teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg, well-beaten
    • 1 cup sweet milk


    Instructions


    1. Mix dry ingredients; add nuts. Add the milk to beaten egg and then mix with dry ingredients.
    2. Pour into a greased loaf pan and let rest 15 minutes before baking.
    3. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
