    Mamma's Triangle Rolls

    Mamma liked yeast rolls and yeast roll recipes. This is another from her notebook.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup warm water
    • 1 package dry or 1 cake yeast
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 4 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1 tablespoon melted butter
    • 3 cups flour


    Instructions


    1. Mix water and yeast. Add remaining ingredients and mix.
    2. Chill dough.
    3. To make cloverleaf rolls, roll 3 small balls of dough in warm butter and place in 1 muffin pan cup (3 balls make 1 roll.)
    4. After shaping the rolls, let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
    5. Makes 18 cloverleaf rolls.
