    Crockpot Venison

    Darn. Cream of mushroom soup again. I suppose a thin white sauce would substitute nicely, but this really is good.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 pounds venison steak
    • flour
    • pepper
    • salt to taste
    • garlic salt
    • 1 package onion soup mix
    • 1 can mushroom soup


    Instructions


    1. Mix dry ingredients and coat meat with the mixture. Tenderize the meat by pounding to 1/2-inch thick. Brown in a frying pan. Place in crockpot. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Turn to LOW and cook 4-5 more hours.


    Final Comments


    Cubed potatoes, chopped onions, and sliced carrots may be cooked along with the roast.
