    From a Florida relative, this recipe is over 40 years old. I'm getting away from using canned soups, but this (and a few other old favorites) will stay in the files. I often substitute sour cream or white sauce for cream of whatever soups, but neither does well in this recipe.

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400.

    Flour, salt, and pepper 1 chicken, cut up, or 4-6 split breasts. Place boney-side up in casserole dish.

    Bake 35-40 minutes. Reduce heat to 325o.

    Mix together:
    2 cans mushrooms, drained
    2 cans cr. of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. dry sherry (opt.)

    Pour soup mixture over chicken. Sprinkle
    with parsley (and a little paprika).

    Bake 15-20 minutes more. Serve over rice
