Congealed Pineapple-Carrot Salad
Recipe Introduction
A lovely girl named Rae gave me this recipe when we lived in Iowa. I like to make it for the holidays.
List of Ingredients
- 2 packages orange gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 small package cream cheese
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 small carton whipped topping
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add marshmallows and cream cheese. Stir until dissolved.
- Add remaining ingredients. Continue stirring until whipped topping is incorporated. Chill until set.
Final Comments
This is a good recipe for a bridge luncheon.
