It's a pretty sauce as well as a tasty one. List of Ingredients 1/4 cup raisins 2 cups water 1 cup light brown sugar 2 tablespoons cornstarch pinch salt 1/4 teaspoon ginger 2 tablespoons vinegar Instructions Cook raisins in water about 5 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients and add to the raisins. Cook until thickened. Final Comments This recipe came out before dried cranberries, cherries, and the like became popular. Craisins would do well.
