    Jane's Pineapple-Glazed Carrots

    List of Ingredients




    From my sister Jane. She said these were really good. Her comments are in parentheses.


    5-7 scraped carrots cut into 1 1/2 inch sticks ( I used the little carrots to as many as I thought we would eat)
    1/2 t. salt
    1 8 3/4 oz. can (1 cup) pineapple tidbits (I used crushed Pineapple), drained.
    1 T. grated orange rind (did not have, didn't use)
    1/2 cup brownulated sugar (may use regular brown sugar)
    1/4 t. cinnamon
    2 T. butter

    Cook carrots till tender. Drain. Add rest of ingredients, place over medium heat and occasionally toss lightly until glazed, about 5 min. Yield 5-6 servings
