Mamma's Corn Pudding 1

Mamma had several recipes for corn pudding (creamed corn) in her notebook. They are all quite similar. I've selected two that have minor differences.





List of Ingredients



• 1 can creamed corn
  
• 1 tablespoon flour
  
• 3 eggs, beaten
  
• 1/4 cup sugar
  
• Pinch salt
  
• 1 1/2 cups milk*
  
• 1/4 cup melted butter
  






Instructions



1. Mix. Bake in a greased casserole at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
   






Final Comments


Another recipe calls for 2 cups milk, scalded. That recipe also suggests topping trhe casserole with cracker crumbs and butter and baking at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
